How do you make your event stand out?

In a new landscape of video calls and webinars, how do you make your event stand out?

Since March 2020 we’ve been working on a new approach to delivering our event services, for now we’re concentrating our efforts on virtual and hybrid events. This is our focus for now and we’d be happy to advise you on how to make your next presentation a success.

Virtual Event Production

Step 1

Our Project Manager will have a conversation with you and get to understand your objectives.

Step 2

We’ll make recommendations on budget, which platforms to use, what equipment to deploy, work out the speaker support you need and help you build a script for an engaging presentation.

Step 3

Our design team will ensure you have eye catching backgrounds and graphics to use during the event, this won’t look like just another web call.

Step 4

We work with presenters both in the studio and remote to test their setup, ensure the lighting is adequate, check camera positions and audio.

Step 5

We’ll run a rehearsal to ensure all participants feel comfortable. Our Broadcast Manager will complete final checks and make sure everyone is ready for the event.

Step 6

We have a skilled team working behind the scenes to ensure your event runs smoothly. From the Broadcast Manager queuing the next segment, to the Technicians monitoring sound levels.

Kilowatt provides professional support and custom-built spaces for hosting virtual events. Our Cape Town offices have been transformed into 7 purpose-built spaces for recording and streaming client events. We have the space and the equipment to pre-record your event or for a more immediate experience stream the event in realtime.

Hybrid Event Production

With a hybrid approach, there is an opportunity for your business or organisation to communicate your message in a polished and professional manner. Our studios can host a suitably distanced audience, while ensuring the broadcast reaches the wider world. Your presenters have the energy of an audience and the feedback from a live audience.

Step 1

Like Virtual Events, we’ll have a conversation with you and get to understand your objectives.

Step 2

We’ll show the studios we have available and run through the options.

Step 3

We’ll make recommendations on budget, which platforms to use and what equipment to deploy. We’ll translate our live event experience into the studio and suggest ways to make your event have impact. Our Stage Manager will be there to make suggestions and support your team throughout the event. Your speaker will be supported and we’ll help you build a script for an engaging presentation.

Step 4

Our design team will ensure you have an eye-catching set, backgrounds and graphics to use during the event, this won’t look like just another web call.

Step 5

We work with presenters both in the studio and remote to test their setup, ensure the lighting is adequate, check camera positions and audio.

Step 6

We’ll run a rehearsal to ensure all participants feel comfortable. Our Broadcast Manager will complete final checks and make sure everyone is ready for the event.

Step 7

We have a skilled team working behind the scenes to ensure your event runs smoothly. From the Producer talking in the ear of the presenter, to the Technicians playing in the on screen graphics.

Live Events

Step 1

Our Project Manager will have a conversation with you and get to understand your objectives. Who is your audience and what is the outcome you’re looking for?

Step 2

We’ll work closely with you to develop your concept and design the setting.

Step 3

Sets and props are built by our skilled joiners and technicians.

Step 4

Lighting and sound technicians specify the correct equipment and carry out trial runs in the event space.

Step 5

We test our work and ensure all the parts fit together.

Step 6

Our production team gets set up with staging and rigging, a control centre is established to manage sound and lights.

Step 7

Our Event Manager works with you to ensure you have everything you need during the event. We’ve done this before so you can relax and enjoy the experience.

As this pandemic slowly recedes our team will once more have the opportunity to work on live events. We are looking forward to it. From award shows to product launches, we have the experience to deliver your next event (we’ve been doing it for years).
